tommy and kermit

i just finished shameless, i was just wondering if i missed it and wasnt paying attention but they they ever talk about the whole tommy/ kermit bathroom scene. all i remember was that they wouldnt sit next to each other and didnt tell anyone why. but then the next episode they were sitting next to eachother again. i dont know if i missed that conversation or what
