Is fruit juice really that bad?
The old-school advice was always that fruit juice is good for you because it’s fruit. Then the narrative seemed to switch to it being bad for you because of the high sugar content and low fibre content compared to actual fruit. But surely you still get the vitamins and minerals? Isn’t orange juice still full of vitamin C, as an example?
As long as your diet is balanced (i.e. you’re not consuming a lot of processed sugars from soft drinks, confectionary, etc), would you still be getting a net benefit from nutrients in fruit juice?
