What’s helped you curb the cravings?
I am a 212 pound female who’s struggled to lose weight my whole life. In 2020-2021 I managed to lose about 85 pounds because I wasn’t eating at all due to medical issues. Thankfully I’m better now and managed to gain all the weight back.
Ever since then I’ve been trying my hardest to lose the weight but I’m addicted to all types of junk food. Everytime I tell myself I’ll start today, my mom ends up making the best food and I can’t help but eat it. I don’t want to blame it on my mom since I’m old enough to make my decision of not eating it. But I have a fear of staying hungry too long will lead to me collapsing again (that’s why I gained the weight back after the medical issues).
I’ve heard the benefits of green tea curbing appetite but I can’t tolerate caffeine. I know the steps I have to take but taking control of my junk food addiction is the only part I currently can’t combat. What’s worked for you and kept the weight off?
