Surfing The Crimson Tide
For all the Gen-xers/Xillennials, yes, this is a Clueless reference.
I’m headed to the UK for a 10-day research trip for my work as a historical romance author. Because I can’t abandon my family to romp around the English countryside on the regular, I’m researching 3 books at once. My schedule is so packed that I had to make an hour-by-hour spreadsheet.
I scheduled my trip around my period. And then my period shifted. This is not ideal. (See hour-by-hour spreadsheet, etc).
%#&$ing perimenopause.
My doc prescribed progesterone to delay my period. As I understand it, one of the following three things will happen: 1. It will work and be great 2. It will work but have so many side effects that I have to ditch it. 3. It won’t work.
Anyone have experience with taking period-stopping hormones for a trip?
❤️ thanks!
