How do I suppess hunger?

About a week ago I started a calorie deficit by eating less in volume and eating more healthy. My stomach/ body still isnt really used to eating less and I get really hungry although I've eaten a considerable amount and I don't want to eat something for obvious reasons. It takes a while for your stomach to shrink.

Of course I know the typical tricks like chewing gum, smoking a cigarette or drinking a big glass of water but these only help temporarily or supress appetite. Are there any tricks to suppress ACTUAL hunger? Like the stomach rumbling, hurting kind of hunger. I definitely eat enough, its just that i ate way too much amount of food and I haven't adapted yet and well, hunger isnt nice.
