The most prosaic (and sad) explanation I can think of for the drones situation.

I was listening to one of the recent JRE podcast, guest was Mike Benz, talking about campaigns to censor the internet and the power of the deep state. And at some point he mentioned how the outcome of the new elections in us is potentially the most undesirable outcome considering also the picks that Trump has made for FBI and CIA directors and the open agenda of limit the power and influence of those institutions.

I don't mean to be political, no interest in that, but obviously if I was under threat I would react by making very clear why I am needed. In the recent hearing the FBI effectively asked for more power and money.

This more and more to me looks like an orchestrated operation to cause mass panic and to have people turning to those institutions for protection.

Why they have lights? So anyone can see them.

Why are they not shooting them down? Cause they are their assets.
