I just found out the hard way what platinum collection figures are

I only recently started collecting McFarlane dc multiverse and ordered an injustice 2 green lantern to add to my growing collection, to my surprise this is what I got instead 😥 isn't this the exact same figure but unpainted? How does that make it special?
