Backpacking Cheeses (Keeping Cheeses Without Refrigeration)

Title says it well enough, I imagine. I'm planning nutrition for backpacking and I'm wondering the best cheeses to take. Currently planning to take a block of Tilamook extra sharp cheddar at the bare minimum. I'm wondering if y'all can recommend other cheeses and offer methods to help keep my Tilamook safe to eat for a few days being unrefrigerated. Thanks. :)
