building muscles while being on a 1000 kcal deficit
im (21M) 6'1, 87kgs / 192 lbs, my maintenance is 3000 kcal and I eat around 2000 kcal, Im trying to lose fat and build muscle at the same time but I've seen people say that 1000 kcal deficit might be too large and I might lose muscle, how true is it for my age and weight? will I lose muscles? will I be able to maintain my weight in the long term? I dont really starve myself, I hit my protein goal everyday and lift heavy at the gym but im scared that im doing this for nothing, my body fat percentage would around 23%, it's going good tbh but im scared
